We invite you to our 4 bedroom, (sleeps 8) 3 full bathroom, lakefront home at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in gated, private Lake Arrowhead community just 1 hour north of Atlanta. The dock has deep water access which provides a perfect spot for you to swim, fish, or sunbathe. There is over 60 feet of lakefront right outside your back door. The deck and dock overlook the eastern shore of Lake Arrowhead with both lake and mountain views, which are spectacular, especially in the fall. The home includes appliances, linens, furniture, electronics, and fully stocked kitchen. Other amenities include gas fireplace, gas grill, washer/dryer, and a wine chiller. The home sleeps 8 which includes 2 queens, 1 Full, and a trundle- with full bottom and twin on top, and 1 pull out queen sleeper plus loft with day bed and trundle. A pack and play and high chair are available upon request before arrival. There are approximately 10 steps to get down to the home from the parking pad- street level, and you must go down a flight of stairs from the main level to the back yard to get to the lake level, please see the photos of the back of the home. THEATER ROOM: HD cable (living room + 2 bedrooms), 2 large screen tvs, internet (WiFi) and free dialing included. The theater room includes dlp projector, theater lighting, theater seating, and popcorn concession machine. The theater room is AWESOME! I wish I put one in my regular home. The carpet has a glow in the dark confetti design. The room also has blue rope lights near the ceiling. A large theater popcorn machine sits in the corner. BOAT RENTAL A newer 2018 Bentley 20 foot pontoon boat is available for rent for experienced boaters. If you do want to rent our boat there is a minimum 3-day rental during peak season, 2-day minimum rental off peak season. The rate includes a full tank of gas and you must fill the gas tank when finished. The rate is $225/day, $1150/week. The boat is a 20 foot Bentley pontoon with a 90 hp Mercury engine. Sorry.... no tubing or any other towing. (insurance rules). Please reserve the boat early, we only have 2 boats for our 4 homes. First come, first served. A hydro bike, 10 foot paddle board, canoe, and a 2 kayaks are available at the home for your enjoyment at no cost. You can not bring in your own boats, this is not our rule. Lake Arrowhead is a private lake which is subject to covenants which dictate that visitors boats are not allowed. The gate house will check the name on the boat registration with the homeowners name. There is a hot tub for your enjoyment. It is great to soak in the tub in any season and view the mountains. We empty the water and clean the hot tub after each rental for your hot tubbing enjoyment! Our home is a PET FREE HOUSE! 100% no exceptions!!! Please do not ask us to allow your pet. We are very strict, regardless of (pet size, temperament, or house training, etc.) in enforcing this policy. We are sensitive to guests who may have pet allergies.Not only do we have new floors, furniture, bedding, etc., but also are sensitive to guests who may have pet allergies. If someone cancels on us it is hard to find another renter on short notice. When my family goes on vacation we purchase trip insurance, it has saved us a few times. Our home is the perfect retreat and has some of the best views on Lake Arrowhead. Not only do you have a great view on two decks you also have your own dock and deep water to dive into and enjoy. We have been renting this lake house for over 10 years now and we know what renters want. The house has a total of four bedrooms with three new king size beds. One of the four bedrooms has a bunk bed for the kids. The house comes with two small living rooms, one up and one down, with their own flat screen TV with Comcast Cable in each. The fully stocked kitchen is open to the top living room and is perfect for family gatherings around the granite countertop. We provide almost everything you need from bath soap to laundry soap. This lake house will accommodate eight people comfortably, but can sleep ten. We also rent our Manitou 22 foot 115 HP pontoon boat for a super low rate of $850 per week or $450 for the weekend. Most pontoon boats of this type rent for $850 a day on lakes here in Georgia. We have an assortment of life jackets and keep a couple pull behind rafts to tow behind the boat. We only rent to guests staying at the house. While Jet Ski's are not allowed, you can always find people enjoying the water in Kayak's, Paddle Boards, Sailing or tubing, wake boarding and water skiing. While only property owners are permitted to have boats at the Lake, there are boats for rent at the main Marina. We do provide 2 kayaks and Fishing Poles for our guests use. Lake Arrowhead has many amenities which include: an 18 hole Golf Course, Restaurant, walking trails, park, tennis courts and two pools. There are many different places to explore as well: downtown Canton, Cartersville, Ellijay, and Blue Ridge and the foothills, Tellus Science Museum and Amicalola State Park. Blairsville is also conveniently located. Don't forget about Reinhardt College which during Fall months has many events for the Family to enjoy. A tour of our home will reveal 3 levels: the Main, a Loft and the Terrace Level: MAIN: The Master bedroom is on the Main Floor and boasts views of the Lake and has a sliding door with access to a screened patio with a large Hammock that can accommodate 2 people. In addition, the Master bedroom has it's own FULL bath. A guest bedroom on the Main has 2 twin beds - something we kept from when our children were younger. In addition, a Full bath is located in the hallway. The Main Floor has an INVITING open floor plan where the Kitchen and Great Room allow for incredible views of the Lake. TERRACE: The downstairs bedroom has the largest bed in the home: a KING bed with views of the water. In addition, there is a Full bath, a pool table and a second screened patio that we use as a place to store our water toy's and ski jackets. The porch opens to a door leading down a short path to the dock and lake! LOFT/UPSTAIRS: One bedroom has a Queen bed and has beautiful views of the lake from bed. The other has a bunk bed (double +twin) and a Queen. There is a FULL bathroom here and a large open Loft with a TV, Blue-ray DVD player and a view of the great room and the Lake from a large Bay Window.

The main level includes a modern, well stocked kitchen overlooking the water, totally open so you won't miss a thing. The gourmet stove is a cook's dream. There is a large pantry complete with a few things to get your vacation started. Right next to the kitchen you will find a large lakefront keeping room with a fireplace and a 60 inch high definition television, The keeping room is comfortable and completely open to the kitchen so you can chat with the cook. The large dining room has a beautiful, handmade farm table. You can easily seat 8 but we also include a folding table with chairs for extra guests. The living room is spacious with a fireplace, gas logs and a piano. French doors open to the beautiful patio with plenty of seating. On the deck you have a gas grill and a table with chairs. The wide open porch and deck area are right on the lake and a great place for entertaining and relaxing. Also on the main level is the beautiful and private master suite. The master suite has hardwood floors throughout, a sitting area with a television and French doors leading to the patio and lake. The bathroom is spacious with his and her sinks, a lighted shower and a jetted tub. The closet is big enough to use as a private changing area so we have included a full length mirror and an additional dresser. You won't run out of towels, linens or extra pillows. This private getaway is perfect for reading or watching television, relaxing or just having some time to yourself. Hopefully you won't have to, but if you need to do a little work, you can still watch the fun from your sitting area while getting things done. Upstairs, on the second level, there are three bedrooms with private or adjoining baths and a forth bedroom, a kid's getaway with twin beds and toys. There is a lakefront king bedroom with a Jack & Jill bathroom, a beautiful queen bedroom and a Jack & Jill bathroom, and a large second master bedroom with a private bath and king bed. This level is great for families with children or just couples enjoying some time away from it all. On the lower level you have a huge open area with 2 bedrooms joined by a Jack & Jill bath. The first bedroom is lakefront and very private. This bedroom has a king bed and a comfortable chair for reading or relaxing. The second lower level bedroom is nautical with 2 double beds and a view of the front garden area. We find that teenagers choose this room every time. Maybe they like the privacy and the television with easy access to the great recreation area - but whatever the reason, they always want to be here. The lower level has lots to offer with a bar and a 60 inch high def television. The seating is comfortable and easy living. There won't be any boredom here with ping pong, poker, skeet ball, foose ball, air hockey, books, toys and games. The bar comes equipped with a dishwasher, microwave oven and coffee maker, full refrigerator with ice maker and lots of seating. Another great feature on this level is the second bathroom. Since it's all tile with a huge shower, this full bathroom is perfect for using when you are wet from the lake. We have a beautiful porch on the lower level with lake front seating and a table with chairs for casual dining. We have saved the best part for last - the amazing back yard and dock! You won't want to leave this oasis until long after dark. You really can't run out of things to do, Four Aqua bikes, 2 youth and 2 adult kayaks, a canoe, three paddle boards, a relaxing hammock, Corn Hole and the wonderful cove will fill your vacation days. You will want to spend your days on the lake kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing or relaxing on the massive dock or swinging on the hammock out back. Bring life vests for anyone planning to use the water toys. We have a few vests but can't possibly provide sizes for everyone. So, bring life vests! If you want to go tubing or skiing, boat rentals are available at Lake Arrowhead Marina. The marina is a short drive from the house. No privately owned boats are allowed on Lake Arrowhead. This is not our rule, Lake Arrowhead is a gated community. They will not allow you to bring your boat and will stop you at the gate. Lake Arrowhead Resort has several hiking trails, tennis courts, and an 18 hole golf course with a new and beautiful clubhouse. Basketball, volleyball and walking trails are also available. There is a new outlet mall in Woodstock along with some very good restaurants. The outlet mall and restaurants are located about 22 miles from the house. Canton has several restaurants just 15 miles down a scenic, tree lined road. There is also a large Publix grocery store within a 15 minute drive of Arrowhead. Visit the Tellus Museum, the Booth Museum of Western Art, or go antiquing around Cartersville and enjoy a good meal. This is about a half hour's drive. Be sure to go pick fresh produce at orchards in Elijay. The orchards are an hour's drive from Arrowhead. Check out some of the seven wonders of Georgia including Amicalola Falls and Cloudland Canyon. If you would like to visit Atlanta, you could see the World of Coca-Cola, the Georgia Aquarium, catch a show in the Tabernacle, ride the Sky Wheel, or scream to your heart's content at Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags White Water. You can take in a show at the Fox Theater, visit Stone Mountain or the Atlanta Zoo. For young children, don't miss The Atlanta Theater for Puppetry Arts and Fernbank Children's Museum. If this is your first time visiting Atlanta, have lunch at The Varsity or breakfast at the Marietta Diner - both have been featured on Diner's, Drive Ins and Dives. Most of these attractions are an hour from Arrowhead. There really is so much to see and do here, so don't miss out!

This cozy cottage is located in the gated community of Lake Arrowhead, tucked away in Waleska, GA, where beautiful mountain views, wildlife, and recreation abound. You can enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, golf, tennis, great food and more without ever leaving the neighborhood! If you do want to explore, need to hit the town, or pick up some additional creature comforts, there are plenty of options nearby, including historic downtown Canton (~30 min.) and surrounding commercial areas. Our home can accommodate up to 12 guests and has parking for up to 5 cars. The house is set up with three levels. The main level has a large open kitchen/dining/living room area, with a comfy sectional sofa, TV and gas fireplace, with views and access to the upper level deck, as well as 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms (one bedroom also having views and access to the upper level deck). The upstairs level has a bedroom with private bathroom. The downstairs level has a bedroom with access to the lower level deck, a bathroom, and a living area with access to the lower level deck. The backyard and dock are accessed from the lower deck, where just a short paved path takes you down to the dock. The shallow cove is perfect for fishing and floating, and for launching small watercraft for a paddle or pedal. The dock and waterfront can also accommodate a small pontoon boat, so feel free to check out rentals from the marina. Whether you are here for a quiet retreat, a getaway with friends, an active vacation, family fun, or all of the above, Lake Arrowhead has something for everyone. The Marina has boat rentals, picnic and swimming areas; the Country Club has a restaurant and bar, golf shop and library; there are two swimming pools, a golf course, tennis courts, paved and unpaved hiking trails, basketball and volleyball courts, outdoor fitness center, and playground. Just a short ride into Waleska, there is a great new coffee shop, gas and convenience stores, as well as the Funk Heritage Museum located on the Reinhardt College campus. Beautiful 3-story updated lake house located at the end of a cul de sac in Lake Arrowhead, which is a private gated community. Our home has 6 bedrooms & 4-1/2 baths, and comfortably sleeps 15, so it's the perfect home for several families. There are amazing lake views from almost every room in the house. You enter our home on the top level, which is where the main kitchen is located, with a large island overlooking the den with a wood-burning fireplace and a private screened-in deck. The table on the screened-in deck seats four. There are also two rocking chairs and a twin-sized bed swing, which is the perfect place for an afternoon nap! This floor has another open deck right off the living room and master bedroom which has a patio table that seats four, an outdoor sofa and two chairs. The dining room has a beautiful large table that seats 10, with two dining chairs and two benches. The first of two master bedrooms is on this floor, as well as the first of two laundry rooms. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, gas fireplace, and a bathroom with a jetted tub, shower, two sinks, and a water closet which includes a bidet. The middle floor has 3 bedrooms and 1 full bath, a pool table, a game/dining table and probably the best den area in the house, with windows that are two stories high. This floor also has two large decks; one screened and one open. The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed, the second bedroom has full-over-full bunk beds, and the third bedroom has twin-over-full bunk beds with a twin-sized trundle bed. The bottom floor has a second kitchen, second laundry room, and a second master bedroom with a king-sized bed and full bath with an amazing shower, double vanities, heated floors and a heated towel bar. This bedroom has its own private patio area with beautiful views of the lake. The second bedroom on the bottom floor has two queen-sized beds, a full bath with heated floors, and french doors that lead to a patio that is shared with the large living room area. Our home is located in a no-wake zone, so you can float out on the water without a care in the world. It's so peaceful. We have a very large dock with deep water, a trampoline over the water, 5 kayaks, 1 paddle board, and a hammock overlooking the lake and mountains. Our back yard is flat, so it’s perfect for yard games. We have a Corn Hole game, badminton set, croquet set, and a fire pit area. Boats can be rented daily at the Lake Arrowhead Marina, weather permitting. And I've heard the fishing is great! The Lake Arrowhead community has two swimming pools, an 18-hole golf course, driving range, practice putting green, club house, restaurant with amazing views, lighted tennis courts, playground, hiking trails, etc. There is plenty to do in Lake Arrowhead! IMPORTANT: We ask that you bring your own life vests, as we cannot provide proper sizes for each guest. During the summer, we require 7 or more night stays. During the Fall, Winter & Spring, we require 3 or more night stays, but sometimes make exceptions. Please contact us if you would like a shorter stay during these months. To be considerate to our neighbors, we only allow 15 people at our home at one time, which includes children. We have retirees on each side of our home, and ask that there are no large parties, and that you and your guests are respectful of our neighbors and our community. We also limit the number of vehicles at our home to 5 to ensure emergency vehicles can get through safely. There is overflow parking at both the North and South Gate entrances. The terrace covered deck has a 2 person hammock overlooking the lake and then stairs down to the flagstone patio on the water with lounge chairs ready and waiting! Lake Arrowhead is a private gated community with over 500 acres of water that is never busy! There is a marina where you can rent a boat and a gorgeous golf course/club house where you can have a great meal overlooking the mountains. And of course if you are a golfer, the views are amazing and prices are very affordable for 18 holes. Hiking trails, community pool, playground and more are in Lake Arrowhead to keep you busy if you like or just chill at the house and float/swim/fish in the cove right outside your back door. Lake Arrowhead is 15-20 minutes outside of Canton where there is a movie theater, restaurants and shopping. White Water, Six Flags and Sun Trust Battery Park aren't far either if you want to take a day trip. MASTER: On main level, has a King size wrought iron bed with dresser, walk-in closets and an ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi bath/separate shower. Two vanities with plenty of counter space. Room features French doors that go out to the main deck with outdoor fireplace and seating. SECOND MASTER: On the Terrace Level, has a Queen wrought iron bed and a full bathroom right next to it. The rate is $225/day, $1150/week. 20 foot Bentley pontoon with a 90 hp engine. Sorry.... no tubing allowed, or any other towing. (insurance rules). Please reserve your boat early. We only have 2 pontoons for our 4 homes so it is first come, first served. A hydrobike, canoe, 10 foot paddle board, and 2 kayaks are available at the home for your enjoyment at no cost. You can not bring in your own boats, this is not our rule. Lake Arrowhead is a private lake which is subject to covenants which dictate that visitors boats are not allowed. The gate house will check the name on the boat registration with the homeowners name. We have a 6 person hot tub, which has a water fall, and numerous jets. Who needs the warm weather when you can enjoy a 100 degree hot tub on a winters day, sipping champagne! We change the water and clean the hot tub after each rental for your hot tubbing pleasure. Our home is a PET FREE HOUSE! 100% no exceptions!!! Please do not ask us to allow your pet. We are very strict, regardless of (pet size, temperament, or house training, etc.) in enforcing this policy. We remain a pet free environment to insure that we will provide a high quality home free from dander and allergens which is crucial to people with allergies. We apologize if this is an inconvenience. There is a spiral staircase from the main floor to the lower floor. I would recommend that people that have mobility issues use the main floor bedrooms. We recommend trip cancellation insurance. BOAT RENTAL We offer a BOAT RENTAL (2017 Bentley 20 ft pontoon with a 90 hp Mercury engine) at our marina slip for $225/day or $1150/week minimum 3 day rental peak season, 2 day minimum off peak season. We only have 2 rental boats for our 4 rental homes.... please reserve early. Sorry, no tubing or any towing. (insurance rules). We love them and hope you understand our need for a pet free environment to accommodate our guests with allergies. We have very simple rules at our cabin... Relax, gather with family, take long walks, please do not keep a schedule (we have no deadlines here), smell the trees, count the stars, skip rocks, watch eagles soar (look for our own Bald Eagle on the lake), hibernate, do not feed the bears (they do live in our community), listen to the brook, gather pine cones, take time to laugh, breathe deep and enjoy the fresh air, rest, relax and renew, make smores....enjoy the great outdoors...it is the perfect time to explore and enjoy...best of all, no dress code here! If you want to explore, there's hiking trails in and outside the community (9 miles), Reinhardt University (6 miles), and shopping/restaurants in Canton (14 miles), designer outlets in Woodstock (20 miles). If you're a firearms enthusiast, the Garland Mountain Skeet Shooting range is within 15 minutes. The space is a private 2 bedroom apartment on the bottom level of the home with full kitchen (no dishwasher) and private deck/entrance. The apartment is tastefully decorated with traditional style furnishings and new linens. Each room has ceiling fans, radiant baseboard heating as well as a backup DeLonghi heating/cooling unit located in the living room. The kitchen has all the dishes, pots and pans if you'd prefer to cook during your stay. There's an icemaker located in the full size refrigerator so there's plenty of room for groceries. We've provided a standard coffee pot, some coffee to get you going, English Breakfast Tea and some cream and sugar that you'll find in your welcome basket upon arrival. Owner may access a shop building that is adjacent to the barn during your stay. There is an open staircase and upstairs has half walls that overlook downstairs. Could be dangerous for smaller children. The downstairs barn doors are NOT to be opened by overnight guests - these doors are for events only. Mowing & general landscape/property management task may be done during your stay between 9am & 5pm. 20 acres of land requires a lot of upkeep. We try to do it when the property is vacant but that is not always possible. If the sound of a mower or tractor for a few hours would bother you, this may not be the property for you.
